Why should I consider a heating and air conditioning maintenance agreement?

It is important to maintain your HVAC system so it can operate at peak efficiency, saving you energy as well as reducing emergency repairs. It is also required by most system manufacturers for them to honor the parts warranty.

Routine maintenance is important to ensure that your HVAC is working properly. It is important to know if a part has been broken or worn down over time. Worn down or dirty HVAC parts such as air filters and coils may cause poor air quality in your home.

Wanting to become a Service Maintenance Customer?

Our lives are so busy it is easy to forget about our heat and air conditioning until something breaks.  By having an annual Maintenance Agreement, you won’t need to give it a second thought.  Joe Cool HVAC of NC will contact you twice a year (in the spring and fall) to schedule maintenance at a time that will work for you and your family (during normal business hours).

After signing up and paying for the maintenance agreement you automatically get a 10% discount on any repairs from the time of payment until renewal the following year.

Spring A/C Maintenance Includes     

• Check for proper refrigerant level.

• Clean leaves and debris from inside condenser unit

• Inspect and clean condenser coil.

• Inspect compressor and related tubing for damage.

• Inspect indoor blower.

• Inspect evaporator coil (if accessible)

• Inspect condensate drain lines and drain pan and clean.

• Check operation of thermostat

• Measure air temperatures for proper temperature drop.

• Inspect air filters.  Replace with new filter

  if necessary (filters provided by customer)

• Inspect ductwork for damage and leaks.

Fall Heating system Maintenance Includes

• Inspect burner assembly, clean, and adjust as needed.

• Inspect and clean ignition system.

• Inspect and test all safety controls.

• Inspect heat exchanger for rusting or cracks.

• Inspect flue system for safety.

• Inspect condensate drain lines (for high efficiency furnace)

• Check for proper refrigerant level.

• Check operation of heat strips

• Check operation of thermostat

• Measure air temperatures for proper temperature rise.

• Inspect air filters.  Replace with new filter if necessary (filters provided by customer)

• Inspect ductwork for damage and leaks.
